1.      Chairman’s Report

The purpose of a Parish Meeting is to discuss parish affairs. This gives the parish electors the chance to agree or disagree with the actions or proposed actions of the Parish Council

2.      Minutes of Last Meeting

The minutes of the last Annual Meeting held on 7th May 2002 were read and approved.

3.      Matters Arising

3.1  Overgrown footpaths along Mulberry Road. Highways had cut the vegetation back to expose the full width of the footpath.

3.2  Footpath 94 (Church to plantation). The Chairman rang the Bridleway and  Footpath officer. Footpath 94 is now obsolete and no longer on the map as it was a low priority and now closed.

3.3  Mobile Police station regularly visits the village but is not very well attended. However this is the case in most villages

3.4  Neighbourhood watch now has the facilities to send watchline messages by fax and e-mail.

3.5  A village hall committee has not yet been set up as no-one appears interested and the hall is only cleaned before functions and not on a regular basis.

4.      Any Other Business

4.1  Footpaths

Meeting closed at 7.20 pm

The Chairman stood down.
