The
Chairman thanked the villagers for attending. Before the Parish Council meeting
the Chairman introduced PC Rob Graves the newly appointed Beat manager for the
Market Rasen sector who gave a presentation entitled the Explanation and
Implementation of the National Neighbourhood Policing Programme within the
Market Rasen sector.

items to be discussed under appropriate agenda items.
3. Highways
The
Chairman asked Highways to check holes in the road near Mr Lyle’s farm entrance
and the road edging outside Corner Farmhouse.

Police Report
Nothing
to report.
5.
Neighbourhood Watch
Local activities recently.
A
mini-moto scooter was stolen from a garage in Anglian Way in Market Rasen.
Tractor
parts were stolen from business premises on Pasture Lane.
Hollyrood
Church in Market Rasen was burgled.
A
shed was broken into at South Owersby.
Three
plasma screens were stolen from the hospitality area at Market Rasen
racecourse.

Planning
Nothing
to report.
7.
Treasurer's Report
Balance
of £10,962.95 was reported.
8.
Playground
The
new play equipment was installed w/c 28th November 2005. The
basketball hoop and backboard were replaced at the same time. A team of
volunteers is required to install the safety matting.
A
pony charity at Barnetby do not now want the portacabin.
Replacement
senior size goal nets 24’ by 8’ can be purchased for approx £30 per pair, pegs
£1.50 per 10.
9.
Correspondence
A
request for a donation of £125 towards the upkeep of the churchyard has been
received from Mrs Liz Holmes. This is to be discussed at the March meeting.
WLDC
require the village hall on Thursday 4th May 2006 for the District
Council Election. A fee of £120 was agreed upon.

Village Hall
Nothing
to report. Amy Nicholl is shortly to return from maternity leave so hopefully a
committee can be organised.
11.
Village Activities
The
musical evening arranged for Friday 2nd December 2005 at the church
proved to be very successful.
Approximately 50 people attended to be entertained by local talented
residents.
An
Easter fair to be organised on 8th April 2006 to include a grand
opening of the new play equipment. Councillor Ann Hill has volunteered to
co-ordinate the event.
12.
Any Other Business
PC
Graves asked for a volunteer from the Parish Council to act as a representative
and to sit on the committee for the National Neighbourhood Policing Programme
on a three-monthly basis. Councillor Frank Mandville volunteered for this duty.
Dog
dirt on paths.
Road
verges up Normanby Rise and holes in road near radar scanner
Snow
clearance.
Mole
extermination in playing field.
