Claxby Open Gardens

Date Sunday 17th June 2007 from 12:30 to 5:30pm

Refreshments will be available from 12:00

Map

Claxby is a small village on the western edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds just off the A46 Grimsby road approximately 5 miles north of Market Rasen.

The 2007 Claxby Open Gardens will be held on Sunday 17th June 2007.

The Claxby Open Gardens event is being held to raise funds for the Church. The church is in constant need of repairs and funds are essential. This opens gardens event is to raise funds for the organ restoration. The organ was installed in 1860 and except for the addition of an electric blower has had little work carried out on it since.

Following the success of the 2003 and 2005 Open Gardens events, it is hoped that even more gardens will be open this year, together with the now famous Three Sisters Vineyard.

Please take time to look at the plant stall and buy one or two (or more!) plants to remind you of your visit to Claxby.

Refreshments will be available in the Viking Centre, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and biscuits etc, and of course an ice-cream man because it is going to be a super hot day!!

There will be ample free car parking available during the afternoon.

The gardens, vineyard and other attractions will be described below when details have been finalised.
