Map

Claxby is a small village on the western edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds just off the A46 Grimsby road approximately 5 miles north of Market Rasen.

The 2009 Claxby Open Gardens will be held on Sunday 21st June 2009.

The Claxby Open Gardens event is being held to raise funds for the Church. This year the funds will be used to install a toilet and kitchen in the church.

Following the success of the 2003, 2005 and 2007 Open Gardens events, it is hoped that even more gardens will be open this year.

Please take time to look at the plant stall and buy one or two (or more!) plants to remind you of your visit to Claxby.

Refreshments, lunches and teas will be available in the Viking Centre, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and biscuits etc, and of course an ice-cream man because it is going to be a super hot day!!

There will be ample free car parking available during the afternoon.

There will be at least 10 gardens open on the afternoon.

Other attractions include:-

Exhibition and sale of Joan Mostyn-Lewis's Paintings.

Three Sisters Vineyard, falcon and parrot house
